He later graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (Class of 1983).He originally played the part of Bail Organa, Princess Leia's adopted father, in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). The scene was cut and he was replaced by Jimmy Smits in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005).He has one daughter, Madeleine (born 1987) by his marriage to Anna Nygh, a part-time actress who now practices holistic massage and shiatsu.
