Michael De Cock, artistic director of KVS, is a Belgian author and actor. He has around twenty publications to his name, which are successful nationally and internationally. His work was published in over ten languages. He has also become a prolific script writer. He adapted his playAchter de wolkeninto a feature film, directed by Cecilia Verheyden. In 2018 the film version of his book seriesRosie en Moussa, directed by Dorothée Van Den Berghe, conquered many film buffs’ hearts. Michael De Cock regularly contributes articles in Knack, De Standaard and De Morgen. He has been writing about Europe and migration for about twenty years. He travelled along the borders of Fort Europe with photographer Stephan Vanfleteren for the bookAller/Retour, which will be adapted into a film by Dorothée Van Den Berghe in 2021.
