Josh Schell started acting on stage in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of his theater credits include Heroes of the Fourth Turning by Will Arbery, In the Red and Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney, The Nether by Jennifer Haley, A Lie of the Mind by Sam Shepard, and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee. His on-screen credits include Poppet (2021) (Hulu), Other Side of the Box (2018) (Best Midnight Short, SXSW 2019), For the Coyotes (2015) (premiered at the BendFilm Festival), The Whistler (2013), and ****. He studied and performed at the A.C.T. Young Conservatory in San Francisco and went on to earn a BFA from the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. He is a proud member of both SAG-AFTRA and AEA, was named Best Actor by ** Weekly in 2012, and was called "one of theater's ***** listeners" by the San Francisco Chronicle in 2022.
