阿克曼1967年在电影学院拍摄的四部无声短片作业，8mm拍摄，每部3分钟左右。第一部是游乐场无目的随拍，晃动的手持镜头和快速的剪辑明显是受她所爱的**新浪潮影响；第二部是两个女孩的生活，反映了日后阿克曼作品的重要特点——展现女性的日常；第三部是女孩在逛街欣赏着漂亮的衣鞋似乎没能力购买，大概是作为小姑**阿克曼真实状态的纯粹表达；第四部延续第三部，女孩继续购物，加入了阿克曼本人坐在一辆汽车上，露出天真烂漫的笑容，很难想象她一年后经历了什么拍出了愤世嫉俗的《我的城市》。
